Artificial Turfing
Our landscaping company further partnered with South Coast Building to enhance the outdoor spaces of newly built properties with high-quality artificial grass. The goal was to create attractive, low-maintenance lawns that complement the modern design of the homes while providing year-round usability.
Preparation and Groundwork:
We began by assessing the site to ensure proper drainage. The existing soil was then excavated to the required depth for the sub-base and artificial turf layers. A compacted aggregate sub-base was installed to provide stability, followed by a layer of sharp sand for a smooth surface. A weed-resistant membrane was laid to enhance drainage and protect the grass.
Artificial Grass Installation:
The artificial turf was rolled out and cut to fit each area precisely, with seamless joins for a natural look. The edges were secured to prevent movement. Silica sand infill was applied to increase durability and maintain a realistic appearance.
Finishing Touches:
The grass was brushed to lift the fibers for a fresh, natural look. A final inspection ensured high-quality standards, and the site was left clean and ready for use.
