We completed a bespoke landscaping project for Everform Ltd in Surrey featuring the installation of corten steel retaining walls, steps, and edging. This transformation was not without its challenges, but the result is a striking and modern outdoor space that blends beautifully with the natural surroundings.

The site presented some significant challenges from the outset. The ground was extremely soft and offered little to no natural drainage. These conditions made excavation and installation more complex than usual, requiring careful planning and adapted construction techniques. Despite the difficulties, our experienced team worked meticulously to ensure a stable and long-lasting foundation for all corten features.

To create structure and manage the site’s varying levels, we installed custom-fabricated corten steel retaining walls. These not only serve a functional purpose in stabilising the landscape but also provide a strong architectural aesthetic. Over time, the corten will develop its characteristic rust-like patina, enhancing its visual appeal and further integrating it with the garden’s natural tones.

Linking different levels of the garden, the corten steel steps were precisely installed to ensure both safety and style. Their clean lines and durable finish create a modern contrast against softer planting and organic elements. The steps provide a practical solution to the site’s elevation changes while maintaining a cohesive design flow throughout the space.

To complete the look and provide neat separation between planting areas, lawn, and pathways, corten edging was installed throughout the garden. The edging helps to maintain clean lines and prevent material migration, adding both form and function. As with the walls and steps, the edging will naturally weather over time, developing a rich, textured finish.
